A 20-year-old Reno man faces up to five years in prison this morning for an auto theft that was discovered last fall in Glenbrook. Anthony Karnes' sentencing was delayed while he received a mental health evaluation. Karnes, who got into a fight on the bus to a regimental discipline program, is scheduled to appear in Douglas County district court today.

When we get a cause and the extent of damage to a Gardnerville Ranchos home that burned Sunday evening, I'll post that today. The house is uninhabitable and there's bound to be a lot of smoke and water damage.

It looked like we might get a little moisture this week, but the forecast has changed to just wind. Today could see 30 mph gusts with a high of 79 degrees. Tuesday's high will be cooler with wind gusts of up to 45 mph. The other side of this front will be much cooler with the high on Wednesday hitting 55. It's not summer, yet, folks.
