Park Cattle's master plan amendment hits the silk 4:30 p.m. today at the Gardnerville Town Board. The town's got two hours set aside for the hearing and if anyone can get through the project in that time, it's this board. I'll post what I learn at the meeting when I get home.

Genoans are having their meeting before the meeting before Candy Dance at 7 p.m. tonight. Town Manager Sheryl Gonzales will update the town board on the progress of the town's largest fundraiser, held the last weekend of September.

There may be thunderstorms today and Wednesday with the chance growing to 40 percent on Wednesday morning, according to the National Weather Service. Hopefully, we'll get more moisture and less lightning, as the chance of ignition is 100 percent. We'll hit 92 today for the high.
