A $200 reward is being offered for the return of a camera and its contents that were lost Thursday near the Sheridan Acres Volunteer Fire Department.

Valley resident Rollan Campbell said he left his lunchbox and the camera containing 475 photos from a family trip to Norway on the back of his car when he drove off.

He was in Gardnerville by the time he realized that neither item was still in his position.

"I hurried back there as fast as I could," he said. "I found my lunch bucket, but the camera wasn't there."

Campbell said the photos were from a two-week tour of wife LaRee's ancestral home.

"The whole family was on the tour," he said. "There were 15 of us one a bus of 45. They were all relatives of my wife's grandfather. I was able to send 10 of the photos to my daughter but they were just of the first part of the trip. I really want to get the pictures back of all the beautiful fjords."

The camera was a black Samsung digital with a black case. Anyone finding it is asked to contact Campbell at 265-4111.
