Rosebud and Pops in Heritage Park
The Town of Gardnerville's Movies in the Park presents the Carson Valley Pops Orchestra entertaining with show tunes before the classic movie, "Citizen Kane," on Aug. 15. The movie begins at dusk in Heritage Park, a block east of Highway 395 off Gilman.

Carson Valley Inn entertainment
Tina & the Tune-Ups appear through Sunday and various duos entertain on Monday nights. Cabaret Lounge entertainment is presented with no cover and no minimum in 45-minute shows at 7:30, 8:30, 9:30, 10:30 and 11:30 p.m.
Tina & the Tune-Ups' performance includes a costumed tribute to the '50s and '60s. The group is Tina Fink on keyboards and lead vocals, Ray Rodarte on lead guitar and vocals, Gary Setzer on drums and Dave Edwards on bass.
Shake, Rattle & Roll take the Cabaret Lounge stage Tuesday and play until Aug. 17. Shake, Rattle & Roll recreates classic rock 'n' roll of the '50s, '60s and '70s performed live without the aid of computers and tapes. The band features Lee Bellinger on lead vocals, Andy Highhouse on guitar, Michael Tucker on bass and vocals, Warren Purcell on drums and Bill Crane on keyboards and vocals.
