Chris Hall, 17, of Genoa reacts as Victoria Urias inserts the needle into his arm at Nick Hales' blood drive for his Eagle Scout project Friday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Later-day Saints. Hall said this was his first time giving blood. Hales acknowledged Papa Murphy's Pizza for donating pizzas, sodas, cheesy bread and coupons during the blood drive. 'The goal was to get 40 blood donations and we got 42. There's always a need,' said Hales, 18. 'It went really well. No one really passed out. One girl getting woozy was the biggest health issue.'
