Authorities are shutting down Highway 756 and Waterloo Lane due after a vehicle knocked down two power poles.
Utilities are responding to the accident location to shut off electricity 3:45 p.m.
One pole is partially down and another is completely snapped off.
Highway 756 is main route between Gardnerville and the Ranchos.
