Muller Lane will definitely be closed today and Thursday while they finish repaving the road. If the rules are the same as last time, people who live along Muller and emergency traffic will be allowed on. The rest of us should use Genoa or Mottsville lanes to get across the Valley.
Speaking of roadwork, paving on Highway 50 between Stateline and Spooner Junction is scheduled to be finished 5 p.m. Friday in time for the Memorial Day weekend. In the meantime expect traffic to be down to a single lane each way and no passing.
The heat goes back on today with a high temperature of 94 and will continue to rise through Friday. We've got a slight chance of thunderstorms on Saturday, and then another cool-down on Sunday, the last day of August.
