Joseph P. Kennedy Sr. was born Aug. 12, 1926, in Pennsylvania and died Aug. 13, 2008 in Carson City, after a lengthy illness.
He served his country in World War II.
Mr. Kennedy is survived by daughter Connie Robertson and son, Joseph Kennedy Jr., several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will be greatly missed.
Autumn Funeral Homes took care of arrangements. A celebration of life will be held at a future date.
