Today will be a quiet beginning to a very busy week. This week sees both a packed meeting week and the holiday kick-off week.
On Tuesday, both Gardnerville and Genoa have their town board meetings. On Wednesday, Gardnerville's kicking off the holidays at Heritage Park while Minden's weighing meatier matters at their monthly meeting.
On Thursday, county commissioners meet.
And on Friday, both Minden and Genoa are hosting Christmas fairs.
We may be kicking off Christmas, but it feels more like Halloween out there. We've got sunny skies and highs in the mid-50s through the week. The long-range forecast doesn't have any moisture in it worth mentioning.
