There were 34 floats entered in the 13th annual Parade of Lights that ran from Lampe Park to Minden Park on Saturday.
The overall winning float was "We Believe" in honor of Joey Jacobsen entered by Keith Hart of Big Daddy Bicycles.
Douglas High School Band won the school award, the youth award went to the 4-H float, the Valley Cruisers Car Club won the service/nonprofit award, Sunshine and Rainbows won the business float award and G.E. Energy was best theme.
The grand marshals for the parade were Mike and Janet Fischer as H.F. and Margaret Dangberg and Randy and Linda Slater as John and Mary Gardner, in honor of the parade's theme, An Old-Fashioned Christmas.
