The driver of the sport utility vehicle was shaken, but not seriously injured in the accident that occurred at about 8:30 a.m. Douglas County Sheriff's deputies and East Fork Fire & Paramedic Districts units responded to the accident. Motorists are asked to used caution in the area. The road is still slick above northern Carson Valley and through Jacks Valley.

The Nevada Highway Patrol is dealing with a dozen different incidents across Northern Nevada this morning, including three along Highway 395.

One of the main routes connecting Northern and Southern Nevada was closed this morning due to blowing dust causing poor visibility. Highway 95 between Schurz and Hawthorne was closed at 8 a.m. It has since reopened.
