Authorities are investigating the death of a man found hanging from a cottonwood tree along Highway 395 in Holbrook Junction this morning.
The identity of the 55-year-old is being withheld pending notification of next of kin.
Several motorists saw him as they drove along the busy highway. It was a passer-by who reported the death.
The man was staying with friends in a nearby home.
In Nevada, unattended deaths are investigated as homicides.
