Volunteers started wrapping the gifts for Project Santa Claus on Tuesday.
"We are doing well, but we could always use more wrappers," organizer Marilyn Malkmus said.
Work to complete wrapping will continue 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. through Saturday at the Douglas County Fairgrounds.
Malkmus said she expects to have gifts for 739 children when they are distributed next week.
Members of the Crystal Angels are going shopping today at the Clear Creek Plaza Wal-Mart.
They'll be wrapping their gifts in a room donated by the Carson Valley Inn on Thursday before delivering them to the fairgrounds.
Project Santa Claus helps provide Christmas gifts to Douglas County children who are qualified through Douglas County Social Services, Washoe Tribal Social Services, Family Support Council, CASA and the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
