A helicopter mechanic who allegedly traded a 17-year-old girl use of a car for nude videos appeared in East Fork Justice Court on Wednesday.
Troy Marvin Creeks, 42, is being held in Douglas County Jail on one count of of unlawful use of a minor in a sexual performance. His bail is set at $100,000.
According to court reports, Creeks was arrested after the girl's mother found a handwritten contract signed by both parties which set forth what the girl had to do in order to use the vehicle, a 2004 Honda.
Creeks told Justice of the Peace Jim EnEarl that he was trying to hire an attorney, but the only one he has contacted so far asked for a $10,000 retainer, more than he could afford.
He said he lost his job as a result of the arrest.
Creeks' parents appeared in court on Wednesday, and through an attorney told Justice of the Peace Jim EnEarl that they were trying to get a power of attorney from Creeks in order to sell his property to raise money for an attorney.
The Johnson Lane resident owns several vehicles.
EnEarl set a Dec. 31 hearing to give Creeks enough time to hire an attorney.
