Republican county convention moves

Because of substantial interest, Douglas County Republicans have decided to delay their convention a week until March 8.

In a statement issued Friday by the Douglas County Republican Central Committee, Republicans announced they were moving the convention to the Douglas County Fairgrounds.

Committee chairwoman Maggie Benz said all delegates and alternates elected at the precinct meetings are requested to register beginning at 8 a.m.

Delegates need to bring the signed white copy of the county delegate/alternate form they received at the caucus
