The Agriculture Council of America invites students in grades 7-12 to submit original essays of no more than 450 words about the importance of agriculture. The essay contest coincides with National Ag Week, March 16-22.
The theme is Agriculture-Bigger Than You Think. Deadline for submissions, Feb. 15.
State winners will receive $100 each and the national winner will receive a $1,000 prize and a trip to Washington, D.C., where they will be recognized at the Celebration of Ag Dinner on March 11.
