Edna Meza led the Douglas junior varsity girls in a 62-39 win over North Valleys Friday. Meza led all scorers with 14 points and 15 rebounds.
CJ Baumgartner added 12 points, four assists, three steals and three rebounds in the win.
Briana Rutherdale had nine points and seven rebounds.
Susie White added five assists and two points in the win.
"The girls prepared very hard for this game due to the fact that when we played them at North Valleys their swarming trap defense was the toughest we had faced," coach Les Imelli said.
Megan Michitarian contributed nine points and Sara Mangiaracina added five.
Niki Hamzik had four points while Emily Weaver had five and Kaitlin Babbitt added two.
Douglas is now 19-3 overall and 10-0 in league play. The girls face Reno on Friday.
