Carson Valley Kiwanis Club's 10th annual Stars of Tomorrow Talent Competition is open to youth in ninth through 12th grades in Carson Valley, Carson City, Dayton and Fallon. Applications are due April 7, auditions are April 19, dress rehearsal is April 25. The Stars of Tomorrow program is April 26 at the CVIC Hall in Minden.
Categories for competition include soloists, duets, trios and quartets in vocal or instrumental music, dance, drama and other performing arts. Scholarships range from $200 to $1,000 for the Gene Zimmerman Memorial Scholarship.
Applications are available at public and private schools, from private music, drama and dance teachers and from Ann Delahay, 1662 Highway 395, Suite 110, Minden.
