An autopsy has been conducted in the homicide of Wildhorse Lane resident Benjamin Oxley and Douglas County authorities are awaiting results.

Capt. Mike Biaggini said Monday that while the cause of death is obvious, the autopsy could turn up additional information.

Oxley was found shot to death at the home at 2800 Wildhorse Lane that he was leasing.

A $2,500 reward had been offered by Secret Witness for information leading to the arrest and conviction of whoever is responsible for his death.

Douglas County sheriff's officers were called to the residence at 3:20 a.m. on Thursday.

No details of the shooting have been released, and there had been no arrests.
