Tonight Douglas County leaders gather to hear about sustaining business in what has become a somewhat chilly climate at the Douglas County Building Industry's annual event at the Carson Valley Inn.
A fund has been established at Wells Fargo Bank to assist the family of Benjamin Oxley, who was found shot to death at his home on Wildhorse Lane last week, with expenses. Donations may be made at any branch to the Ben Oxley Memorial Fund.
We're heading for 60 degrees today under mostly sunny skies, so that should be the end of whatever snow patches are still hanging around from last weekend's storm. But the ice bergs still hanging on will cling for a bit. More of the same Thursday, but a little big cooler and the a slight chance of showers on Friday night.
