Artist Reiko Hervin offers drawing and watercolor classes from February to May at the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension office, 1329 Waterloo Lane, Gardnerville.
There are beginning, intermediate and advanced levels. Each class includes 30 minutes of still-life drawing and two hours of watercolor painting and critique.
Beginning class A: Step-by-step for the absolute beginner, 9:30 a.m. to noon, Thursdays. Starting Feb. 14, Feb. 28, March 20, April 10, April 24 and May 8.
Intermediate class B: For less than three years' painting experience, 1-3:30 p.m., Thursdays. Starting Feb. 14, Feb. 28, March 20, April 10, April 24 and May 8.
Advanced class C: For advanced amateurs with more than five years' painting experience, 1-3:30 p.m. Thursdays. Starting Feb. 7, Feb. 21, March 13, April 3, April 17 and May 1.
