The Daughters of Norway Queen Maud Lodge No. 42 meet 6 p.m. Thursday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church at the corner of Saliman and Highway 50 East, Carson City.
A installation of new officers, including Jerri Bolinger from Gardnerville as president, will be followed by a feast provided by outgoing officers. Wear your Scandinavian attire.
Founded in 2001, the group presents programs to maintain knowledge of the history, culture and language of Norway and build a support system and friendship in the group.
Women of Norwegian, Swedish, Danish, Finnish, Icelandic heritage or who are married or have been married to a Norwegian are invited to join. Information, 782-5259.
