Dianne Cook


1951-2007


A celebration of life is 11 a.m. Jan. 26, 2008, at Walton's Chapel of the Valley in Carson City for Dianne Cook, 56, who died Dec. 28, 2007, in Stateline.


Ms. Cook was born June 25, 1951 in Winnipeg, Canada and has lived in Stateline for more than 20 years. She was an animal lover and enjoyed her cats.


She is survived by her daughter Nicole Shamrock of Stateline; her sister Yvonne; niece Laurie; nephew Eric; and many friends.


Arrangements are in the care of Walton's Chapel of the Valley in Carson City.




Delores Fry


1928-2008


A celebration of life is 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in South Lake Tahoe for Delores (Dee) Fry, 80, who died Jan. 16, 2008. The Rosary will be recited 10:45 a.m. prior to the celebration of life at St. Theresa's Catholic Church.


Mrs. Fry was born Jan. 8, 1928, in Astoria, Ore. She was married 53 years and lived a life of service to her husband, her children, family and her faith. She lived by the belief that in life and in death, we are the Lord's.


Arrangements are in the care of FitzHenry's Funeral Home in Carson City and further arrangements in the care of Saint Theresa's Catholic Church in South Lake Tahoe. Brenda


Graves-Breeden


1962-2008


Memorial services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Carson Valley United Methodist Church in Gardnerville, for Brenda Graves-Breeden, 46, who died Jan. 11, 2008.


Born Dec. 28, 1962, she was preceded in death by her grandparents Carl and Florence Graves, Aurther Nicolas Rego and her nephew Jordan.


She is survived by her parents Gerald and Mary Graves, grandmother Opal Rego, her sister Tina, brother Johnny and his wife Stacey, her life time love Jay Breeden as well as nephews Tarryn, Ty, Ryan, Justin, Jordan and niece Taylor.


Arrangements are in the care of Washoe Memorial Cremation and Burial.




Virginia M. Pryor


1921-2008


No services have been planned for Virginia M. Pryor, 86, who died Jan. 12, 2008, in Gardnerville.


Mrs. Pryor, a 21-year resident of Gardnerville, was born Sept. 10, 1921, in Firth, Idaho, to Orton Andrus and Cora Jackson Andrus. She married William S. Pryor on Aug. 26, 1943, in Alameda, Calif. She served in the U.S. Navy and spent her life as a homemaker. She enjoyed golf and gardening. She was a resident of Reno before moving to Gardnerville.


She was preceded in death by her husband William S. Pryor on May 10, 2006, in Gardnerville and her son William A. Pryor in December 1998 in Reno.


She is survived by her son Jackie Pryor of Sparks; daughter and son-in-law Jill and Douglas Sutherland of San Andreas, Calif.; her sister Evelyn Galeazzi of Mesquite, three grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.


Arrangements are in the care of FitzHenry's Carson Valley Funeral Home in Gardnerville. Cremation to take place at FitzHenry's Crematory in Carson City.
