Co-workers of dog owner Randy Brown are offering a $300 reward for the return of Brown's Malamute husky, Anaga.

Carson Tahoe Regional Medical Center intensive care unit nurses are offering the reward for information leading to Anaga's recovery.

Anaga was taken from Brown's truck while he was working Jan. 22 at Carson Valley Medical Center.

Rich Elmquist said the nurses decided to help over the weekend.

"Randy's dog is very special to Randy and Randy is very special to us," Elmquist said. "We'll go anywhere to pick Anaga up."

Elmquist said callers may remain anonymous.

Anyone with information that could lead to Anaga's recovery should contact Elmquist at 782-8202 or Brown at (775) 450-5304.
