Auction donations by the dozen are pouring in for the Mattinson family fundraiser set for 5.-9 p.m. Feb. 9 at St. Gall Pastoral Center in Gardnerville.
Friends of the family have organized the spaghetti dinner to help with medical expenses incurred following the Sept. 15 death of Britt Mattinson, 8, from a heart ailment.
District Judge Dave Gamble is set to be the auctioneer for the evening that includes live and silent auctions, door prizes, raffles, a performance by the Douglas High School Jazz Band and entertainment by disc jockey Chris Whybrew.
Auction items range from bicycles and movie tickets to overnight trips, autographed sports equipment and wine.
Dinner tickets are $7 per person and $25 for a family of four or more.
Tickets may be purchased at Big Daddy's Bicycles, Taylor York Salon, Classical Glass, Wasabi's Restaurant and Indigo Restaurant, and will be sold at the door the night of the event.
Anyone wishing to donate items for the silent auction may call Ginger Easley at (775) 721-0828.
Friends are selling orange wrist bands that read: "Keep Britt in your ô" for $2.
