Sarah J. Zabelsky and Adam D. Holland were married Jan. 3, 2008, at Edgewood Country Club, Stateline.

The bride is the daughter of Leslie and Bill Zabelsky of Gardnerville. She graduated from Douglas High School in 2003 and from the University of Nevada, Reno, May 2008, with a degree in music education. She will be teaching music at Carson Valley Middle School in the fall.

The groom is the son of Fred Holland of Reno. He is a 2004 graduate of Douglas High School and is studying journalism at the University of Nevada, Reno. He is employed as an associate producer at KTVN, Channel 2 News in Reno.

The bride's attendants were Amy Jackson, maid-of honor and sister of the bride; Lisa Holland, bridesmaid and sister-in-law of the groom; Jennifer Zabelsky, bridesmaid and sister of the bride and Sailor Lee, flower girl and sister of the groom.

The groom's attendants were Joseph Holland, best man and brother of the groom; John Stockton, who stood in for Holland because he was deployed on a submarine in the Pacific; Mario Ponzio, groomsman and friend of the groom and Hunter Lee, groomsman and brother of the groom. The ring bearer was Montgomery Jackson, nephew of the bride. Ushers were Adam Cartwright and Greg Sloan.

Officiating was James Jackson, brother-in-law of the bride.

Seventy-five guests enjoyed a dinner buffet at Edgewood, following the ceremony. Out-of-town guests came from as far away as Boston and Pittsburgh.

The couple honeymooned in Puerta Vallarta and is making their home in Sunridge.
