The third in a series of town hall forums about the future of the Copeland Cultural Arts Center features Nevada Arts Council consultant Kendall Hardin, 7 p.m. July 10. The forum will be at the arts center, at First Street and Highway 395 in Minden.
Hardin has more than 20 years' experience as a start-up consultant for small businesses and nonprofit organizations and has assisted communities in designing cultural arts districts, local arts agencies and statewide advocacy programs.
Her fundraising campaigns have earned awards in competitions in advertising, public relations, marketing and design.
She was selected to work as a consultant for the National Endowment for the Arts Advancement Program serving emerging arts organizations.
Since 2002, Hardin assisted the Nevada Opera in reorganizing and eliminating debt, and most recently through the Nevada Arts Council Circuit Rider Grant Program, Hardin helped the Carson Valley Arts Council develop a strategic plan for a capital campaign and addressed the arts incubator concept as it could apply to Western Nevada.
