The Douglas County Parks & Recreation Departments' 12th annual Summer Family Concert Series in Minden Park continues with David John & the Comstock Cowboys, 6:30-8:30 p.m. tonight.
Food, non-alcoholic beverages and ice cream will be sold by the Minden-Douglas Elks Lodge No. 2670.
The Comstock Cowboys are sponsored by Buffalo Creek Ranch and co-sponsored by Brooke, Shaw, Zumpft, Attorneys at Law.
The Comstock Cowboys are known for their period outfits and traditional Western sounds of guitars, fiddle, mandolin, keyboards and dobro. Bring a picnic and watch the sun go down to "I've Got Spurs that Jingle, Jangle, Jingle," "Ghost Riders in the Sky," "Orange Blossom Special," and original songs by David John.
