An account has been set up at Bank of America for a Holbrook family who was injured July 11 when a semi-truck traveling south on Highway 395 careened off the road and tore through the Holbrook Station Mobile Home Park after the driver had apparently fallen asleep at the wheel.
Sixteen-year-old Leticia Avalos suffered a broken neck and remains in critical care at Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno.
Twelve-year-old Miranda Luna received 40 stitches for her face and may need corrective surgery on her ankle.
The girls' legal guardian, Julia Luna, injured her back during the accident.
