Barton Foundation's 14th annual Golf Tournament is July 25 on the Lakes Course at Genoa Lakes Golf Club.

Registration and Mulligan and raffle ticket sales begin at 6:45 a.m. The scramble golf tournament starts at 8 a.m. The $175 per person entry fee, of which $100 is tax-deductible, includes green fees, cart, golfer amenity package, a barbecue lunch and no-host bar.

Golfers have an opportunity to win a 2008 Lincoln MKX, courtesy of South Shore Motors, with a hole-in-one contest on Hole 8, and prizes for holes-in-ones on additional holes. There are competitions for first, second and last place, as well as the closest to the hole and longest drive competitions.

This year's tournament is sponsored by Barton Foundation's supporters Benefit Intelligence. Over the years, the tournament has raised close to $400,000.

All proceeds help build Barton Foundation's Endowment Fund, which allows the Barton Foundation to fund projects including construction of the helipad in 2001, the hospice program and Health Resource Center in 2002, the purchase of automated external defibrillators for El Dorado and Douglas Counties, Life-Line units for hospice and the Healing Design program.
