Alpine County authorities are controlling traffic on Highway 4 while retrieving a truck that got stuck on the steep highway.
The black Freightliner's rear wheels were off the edge of the highway when deputies arrived at the scene above Wolf Creek.
Traffic has been delayed while towing the truck back down the steep winding road.
