Four men were arrested early Friday in connection with cocaine sales from a Gardnerville Ranchos duplex and Lampe Park.

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office Special Weapons and Tactics team executed a search warrant at 770 Wagon Drive, Unit A at 5 a.m. Friday.

The warrant was the culmination of an investigation by the Street Enforcement Team into the alleged cocaine trafficking activities of Isaias Leon, 24, who lived at the duplex.

During the investigation, officers made a number of controlled purchases of cocaine from Leon who reportedly conducted one of his sales transactions at Lampe Park, when many young children were present, said sheriff's spokesman Sgt. Jim Halsey.

Leon was arrested on a warrant charging him with sales of a controlled substance and sales of a controlled substance within 1,000 feet of a public park, both category B felonies.

He was booked into Douglas County Jail on $25,000 cash bail.

Officers also found cocaine at the residence which led to the arrest of three other occupants: Luis Ortega-Aguleria, 22; Nicasio Ramirez-Bidana, 19, and Fabian Sanches, 44.

The three were charged with possession of a controlled substance, a category E felony.

Ortega-Aguleria, Ramirez-Bidana and Sanches were all booked into Douglas County Jail on $5,000 each.

In addition to the local charges against these three defendants, the U.S. Immigration Customs Enforcement Agency placed holds on them pending possible deportation proceedings.
