The Barone & Reed Food Co., in Minden will host a benefit dinner for the Heidt family Aug. 7 from 4:30 p.m. to closing.
Reservations are not necessary but preferred.
The restaurant will feature a special menu for the dinner including spaghetti Napoli, Sonoma burger, pork schnitzel, chicken marsala, mediterranean shrimp pasta, cedar plank salmon and New York steak.
Debbie Heidt was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis 10 years ago and it continues to worsen. Her husband, Mark, most recently worked as a bus driver but was laid off.
