by Carson Valley Shepherds 4-H Project members
Special to The R-C
Our 4-H livestock members of the Carson Valley Shepherds traveled to Bishop, Calif., on July 16-20 to compete in showmanship, market and breeding classes. We all helped to shear our sheep and wash them to get ready for the show. After the show, there was an auction and the highest bidder got the sheep.
We would like to thank our amazing Carson Valley Shepherds leader Nita Zulian and our livestock leaders Skyler Zulian, Todd Gansberg and Tami Seddon for all of their help and support throughout the year and in helping us to get to Bishop and make Douglas County proud.
