A funeral service is 11 a.m. Thursday for native Bridgeport resident Bernadine "Ginger" Holdaway, 43, who died June 12, 2008, at Washoe Medical Center.
Born March 24, 1965, in Bridgeport she attended elementary school there and graduated from high school in Phoenix, Ariz.
Mrs. Holdaway enjoyed listening to music, beading and doing yard work. All will remember her as a nice, caring person who was a joy to be around.
Preceding her in death are sisters, Verna August, Penny August, Rose August and brother Carl George August.
She is survived by her husband Timothy Holdaway; mother Joyce Glazier of Bridgeport; father Kenneth August of Bridgeport; children Emma, Carla, Johnny, Lorena and Joshua, her sister June August of Bridgeport; her brothers Bob Glazier of Battle Mountain, Herb Glazier and John (Dutch) Glazier both of Bridgeport, her aunts Edith McCann and Madeline Stevens also of Bridgeport.
Graveside services will be held at the Bridgeport Cemetery immediately following funeral services.
