Batdorf and Rodney next up in free concert series

The Douglas County Parks & Recreation Departments' 12th annual Summer Family Concert Series in Minden Park continues with the Batdorf and Rodney Reunion, 6:30-8:30 p.m.tonight.

Batdorf and Rodney were part of the acoustic harmony sound of the '70s and toured with Bread, Loggins and Messina, Three Dog Night, Dan Fogelberg, Seals and Crofts and Chicago. They have reconnected and are touring again for the first time in more than three decades.

Batdorf and Rodney are presented by sponsor GE Energy and co-sponsor Stor-All.

Next up in the Concerts in the Park series are The Comstock Cowboys on July 11, the Surf All-Stars on July 25 and the Michael Powers Group on Aug. 29.
