East Fork firefighters are responding to a report of a fire on the roof of a home at 960 Starlight Court in the Gardnerville Ranchos.
A neighbor called in the two-alarm fire at 4:55 p.m. The fire was reportedly around the chimney of the home.
According to reports from the scene, a 4-5 foot area around the chimney is on fire. The homeowner is outside and safe.
Traffic is being stopped at Topaz Lane and Starlight Court.
