A Carson City woman accused of taking nearly $10,000 while treasurer of the Valley Cruisers Car Club is scheduled to be arraigned this morning before Douglas County District Judge Michael Gibbons on a charge of felony theft. Pamela Sue Mikulski, 34, will reportedly enter a plea in the case. She told East Fork Justice of the Peace Pro Tem Paul Gilbert that she had a gambling problem.

There was a fatal accident early this morning in Carson City. The Nevada Highway Patrol has the accident listed at 1:44 a.m. near the intersection of Fall and John streets in the capital.

The snow up on Carson Pass is still more than 6 feet deep, according to the SnoTel sensor, but the amount of water stored up has held steady since the big storm a week ago. While the arrival of March wraps up what is usually the biggest snow storms of the year, there have been big dumps this month that have helped considerably.

With high pressure building back up, we're looking at high temperatures in the upper 50s and lows in the 20s for the entire week. It even looks like it will stay nice through the weekend, which will be a happy change.
