Conservation awards nominations sought

The Nevada Wildlife Federation is now accepting nominations for the 2007 Nevada State Conservation Awards. The conservation achievement program is designed to recognize and encourage achievement in environmental education, the conservation of Nevada's natural resources and the enhancement of our natural environment.

Recognition is given for exceptional accomplishment and effort by private citizens, government officials, civic and fraternal organizations, communications media and corporations. Awards will be presented at the Nevada Wildlife Federation's Conservation Awards Banquet, May 31 at Patagonia Outlet Warehouse cafeteria in Reno.
