Tot egg hunts at Lampe Park on Thursday


Douglas County Parks & Recreation hosts Tot Egg Hunts, 11 a.m. March 20 at Lampe Park.


There will be two egg hunts: one for children up to 3 years old and for 4-5 year-olds.


Bring a basket to collect plastic eggs filled with candy and small toys.


Expect a visit from the Easter bunny. Tot Egg Hunt sponsored by Douglas County Parks & Recreation Department, Wal-Mart, Costco and Starbucks Coffee.

Carson Valley Christian Center's Easter events


Carson Valley Christian Center, a nondenominational church, uses contemporary music, drama and relevant teaching to present the story of Easter. Services are about an hour.


Special activities available for children during all services include Easter egg hunts and an Easter drama for children, infants through first grade.


Children in second through sixth grades enjoy a music and drama presentation by high school students.
