The Douglas girls' swim team finished its second regular season in the Zephyr League much the same way it finished the first " as league champs.
The Lady Tigers posted a team score of 416.50 to top Reed (373.50), Manogue (323), Lowry (252), North Valleys (245) and South Tahoe (195), while the boys took third behind South Tahoe and Manogue.
Aside from the team championship, Douglas produced two individual league champs on the girls' side and two on the boys' side with an additional two relay titles.
The team of Marco Hyman, Taylor Brockway, Eric VanBuege and Colby Cain won both the 200 free relay and 200 medley relay titles while VanBuege won the 200 free title with a 2:09.91 and Eddie Kollar won the diving competition with a score of 425.70.
Sophomore Haley VonSchottenstein won the 100 free (59.53) and Aleassa Anzelone won the girls' diving with a 224.55.
Other highlights on the day included Marisa Bertolone-Smonth, Sarah Koontz and Virginia Evans teaming with VonSchottenstein to take fourth in the 200 medley relay and Koontz, Paula Sigala and Cassie Parr taking fourth, fifth and sixth in the 200 free.
VonSchottenstein took second and Bertolone-Smith took fifth in the 50 free, Samantha Phillips took second in diving and Anna Jackson tied for third in the 100 fly with Rebecca Chappell taking seventh.
Koontz took third and Parr took sixth in the 100 free.
Sigala took third and Chappell took fifth in the 500 free.
Evans took third in the 100 backstroke and Chappell, Parr, Koontz and Sarah Allen took third in the 400 free relay.
Sigala, Evans, Bertolone-Smith and VonSchottenstein took fourth in the 200 free relay, Evans took fifth and Molly Lahlum took seventh in the 200 IM, and Chandra Matheson took sixth in the 100 backstroke.
On the boys' side, Hyman took second in the 50 free and the 100 free, Brockway took third in the 100 fly and Shawn Stubnar took third in the 500 free.
Stubnar took fifth in the 200 free, Kevin McAdoo took eighth in the 100 free, Cain took sixth in the 100 breaststroke and McAdoo, Stubnar, Brockway and Ryan Dykes took third in the 400 free relay.
The Northern 4A Regional championships are this weekend at the Lombardi Swim Center on the University of Nevada, Reno campus.
