Douglas junior Eddie Kollar put the finishing touches on his rookie season of diving over the weekend, winning the state title in the 1-meter diving competition in Las Vegas.
Kollar scored a 426.10, beating Green Valley's Blake Bitton, who finished with a 410.30.
Douglas' Ryan Dykes took seventh in the diving competition, scoring a 318.95.
Aleassa Anzelone took eighth in the girls' diving with a score of 271.55.
Sophomore Haley VonSchottenstein took fourth in the 50 free with a time of 25.66. She was the only Tiger to qualify in a swimming event.
