This summer we are offering you the opportunity to join in the fun at the Douglas County Historical Society Swap Meets. Swap meets are a great summer outing in many parts of the West and we thought it was time to start them here. We will be renting booth space to any and all who wish to sell items at the Gardnerville museum site. Rental is $10 and each booth is approximately 10 feet by 10 feet.
There are a couple of restrictions on what may be sold; see the application for complete rules and restrictions.

These swap meets will start in June on June 21, and again on June 28. The swap meets will continue on July 12 and 26, August 9 and 23, and Sept. 13 and 27. This swap meet has great Highway 395 visibility. Everyone driving by will see it and want to stop and browse. We all know how impossible it is to resist a good bargain.

Start to plan your booth space now; June will be here before we know it. Application forms for booth space are available at the Gardnerville museum and should be on our website soon. Even if you are not up to selling, you won't want to miss out on these shopping opportunities.
