Saturday morning reports of a possible glider down near the water ski pond off Highway 395 near Cradlebaugh Bridge in Minden came back unfounded.

A mechanic at the Minden-Tahoe Airport received a call about a possible crash at about 11:50 a.m. Saturday morning.

Responding rescue workers were not able to find any visual confirmation of a crash and the Soar Minden glider company at the airport is not missing any aircraft.

Responders were able to confirm reports of a small motorized aircraft doing low-ground maneuvers, but it did not go down.

All units were called off the scene at 12:15 p.m.
