Play benefits Sierra Crest
Sierra Crest Academy students take the stage in the Children's Museum of Northern Nevada presentation of "Monty Python and the Holy Grail," 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday at the Children's Museum, 813 N. Carson St., Carson City.
The play is presented to raise funds for children at the school. Admission, $8 for adults, $5 for children.

Neighborhood Watch program
Saratoga Springs Neighborhood Watch meets 6 p.m. June 3 at Johnson Lane Station No. 6, 1450 Stephanie Way, Minden. The open meeting features Douglas County Sheriff spokesman Sgt. Thrift store closes
The Hidden Treasures Antique Thrift Store, run by the Family Support Council of Douglas County, will be closing June 7. All items will be on sale for 75 percent off until closing day on June 7.

Student Day at museum is June 7
Senior-Student Day features Laurie Hickey who portrays Clara Martin Hawkins, wife of a Genoa Pony Express rider at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. June 7 at the Carson Valley Museum & Cultural Center, 1477 Highway 395, Gardnerville. Seniors, students and a required accompanying adult admitted free to the museum and presentation every first Saturday of the month. Information, 782-2555.
Carnival tickets available now
Pre-sale carnival tickets for Carson Valley Days are on sale through June 12 at Nevada State Bank, Accolades Trophies and Raley's.
The carnival is June 12-15 at Lampe Park in Gardnerville. Tickets are $16 in advance and $20 at the time of carnival.
