Gardnerville workers didn't have to reach quite so high as in past years to put up the town's Christmas decorations.
A ladder was sufficient to get the snowflakes installed on the town's new light posts.
In previous years, work crews would have to borrow a truck with a cherrypicker and close a lane of Highway 395 to put up the lighted decorations.
