Corby White of Minden watches while donor care supervisor Beth Jacoby takes his blood at Carson Valley Middle School on Saturday. White's son, Chase, an eighth grader at CVMS, is a member of National Junior Honor Society and will receive credit for the blood donation. According to senior donor recruitment representative Jan McKee, this was the school's most successful drive with 41 pints of blood collected.
