Project Santa seeks donations of good quality winter clothing

Donations of good quality used winter clothing for children and adults are needed for Project Santa Claus. Clothing collection continues through Dec. 5.

Items needed include sweaters, jackets, coats, sweat suits, jeans, pants, hats, scarves, gloves, boots, shoes and winter night wear.

Clothing collection boxes are available at Carson Valley Medical Center, the University of Nevada Cooperative Extension Office, R & T Cleaners, Raleys camera department, Edward Jones in Minden, Nevada State Bank, World Gym and many locations in Minden Village.

Project Santa Claus benefits children of Carson Valley Community Food Closet and Family Support Council families, children in the CASA program and families recommended by the Douglas County Sheriff's Department.
