1941-2008
Gardnerville Ranchos resident Cathy Turner, 67, died Nov. 15, 2008.
Mrs. Turner was born April 25, 1941, in Harbor City, Calif., and was a resident of Carson Valley for 32 years.
She worked for Richard J. Peters, CPA, in Minden, and enjoyed camping and gardening in her yard.
Mrs. Turner is survived by her husband of 46 years, Mike Turner; parents Burton and Dorthea Swallow of Camarillo, Calif.; daughters Shannon Turner and Shelbi Turner of Gardnerville; son Michael Turner, stationed as an Air Force tech in Crestview, Fla.; brothers Ron Swallow and John Swallow of Southern California.
Arrangements were made by the Neptune Society of Reno. The family plans a celebration of life memorial at a later date.
