The Douglas High girls' tennis team rolled to a 15-3 league win over Damonte Ranch Tuesday afternoon.
The Lady Tigers have clinched a spot in next week's regional team playoffs.
Douglas was boosted by an outstanding performance from its singles players, who didn't lose a set on the day. The Mustangs only mustered two total games nine sets in the singles bracket.
Amelia Ritger went 3-0 on the day, as did Cesarina Ceglia, while Clara Ritger went 2-0 and Linsey Glass won her lone set of the day.
The teams of Niki Hamzik-Marissa Delgadillo and Jamie Lundergreen-Sarah Weaver each won their two sets and the remaining points were picked up by the teams of Sophie Lyles-Kat Merrill and Katie Sawicki-Sarah Tigh.
The Douglas boys' tennis team suffered a bad break Tuesday afternoon, losing its second match of the season by result of a tiebreaker. Damonte Ranch took a 9-9 (4-2) win over the Tigers.
Douglas got three wins from freshman James TenBroeck and the rest of the Tigers' points came from the doubles bracket.
Andrew Solomon and Kevin Sacherman swept their three sets, Spike Neri and Garon Athanacio won twice and Marshall Jessup and Tim Doran won a match for the Tigers.
